Bus Trips and retreatsBus trips may be arranged for members to attend area quilt shows and events based upon interest. Minimum requirements are approximately 50 members and the fee is $75-80 per person depending on our bus rental cost. View our events calendar to see upcoming trips and to register for a trip Hoffman Factory and M&L Fabrics Date: June 4th Our second bus trip for 2026 is a trip to tour the Hoffman factory in Mission Viejo followed by a shopping trip to M&L fabrics in Anaheim. At Hoffman, we’ll learn about the process of making batiks (note: they don’t make batiks at this factory) as well as get a quick tour of the factory. M&L fabrics is a huge store that sells good quality quilting fabric at a discount price. This trip will take place on Thursday, June 4. We’ll leave at 8:15 am and return around 5:00 pm. The cost of the trip is $55 or $57 if you pay with a credit card. We are only able to take 35 people on this trip as that is the limit that Hoffman fabrics can accommodate. Sign ups for this trip will begin at the March guild meeting. You must pay for the trip in order to secure your seat. 2026 ROAD TO CA BUS TRIP Limited to 50 participants. ANNUAL Retreats
LATE SUMMER RETREAT TO APPLES B & B, BIG BEAR

Dates: Sunday, 11:00 a.m. September 13th through Wednesday noon, September 16th.
Apples B & B is a bright pink, highly decorated Victorian style hotel set up for quilting and scrap booking retreats. Apples is at 7500 feet altitude, surrounded by tall pines and several walking paths.
We will be using two adjoining conference rooms, each with a kitchen and each with a 12-14 person capacity. The conference rooms have new chairs, great lighting and either a 6’ table or two 4’ tables per person. The conference rooms are available 24 hours a day. There is a beautiful garden area between the buildings where you can sew outside or just relax.
Apples provides an extravagant breakfast at 9:00. You won’t be hungry for lunch. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance, including the number 2 rated hamburger joint in the Inland Empire, and the Big Bear Village restaurants are a mile and a half away. You are also welcome to bring your own food. Coffee, teas, sodas and cocoa are provided by Apples.
Most of the bedrooms have two twin beds. There are no single accommodations.
Cost: $400.00, payment due at guild meetings in May or Jun.
Viña de Lestonnac Retreat Center
Each year in January/February the guild arranges for a retreat in Temecula at Viña de Lestonnac Retreat Center.
This is a great opportunity to be with friends and make new ones as you work on your own unfinished projects or begin something new. Enjoy days and nights of uninterrupted sewing, good friends and delicious food. We will have Grand prizes, hours of sewing, too much food and LOTS OF FUN!
There are 30 spaces available for quilters and the retreat fills up quickly!
